The ambitions of our work across the EarthSonic project and within the organisation of In Place of War extend beyond artistic innovation. We are committed to reducing our carbon footprint significantly, ensuring that every staff member has or will be trained in a carbon literacy program to be certified carbon literate. Through our dedication to sustainability, we aim to inspire positive change and contribute to a more environmentally conscious future for all.
Our Environment Policy
In order to better understand our organisation and to help us define our path toward achieving Net Zero emissions, we are committed to environmental impact reporting and evaluating for all our projects, programmes and events. We have developed an environmental policy with a Carbon Literacy trainer and are implementing this policy via an easy to use toolkit for each staff member.
Reporting and accountability
Each year we will summarise our carbon footprint and the strategies we are implementing to further reduce it. This can be found in our annual report (starting 2025).
